Editorial policy

Source labels

Official means Anthropic publishes the resource. Vendor means the product maker or project maintains it. Community covers independent resources and submissions whose publisher is not the product maker. These labels identify provenance, not quality or endorsement.

Resource categories

Directories contains indexes and marketplaces that link to other resources. Skills and MCP Servers contain individual skills and servers. Documentation about either belongs in Guides.

Verification dates

“Verified” means the destination responded successfully and its publisher was identified from the linked documentation or repository on the shown date. It does not certify that installation commands, features, prices, security properties, or model names are still current. Always consult the linked source before using a resource.

New curated entries are checked for 2026 publication or source activity. GitHub commits and directory update records are review evidence; they do not prove that every feature has been tested by ClaudeList.

Bulk MCP Registry entries are checked automatically for an active 2026 Registry record, a live directory page, a reachable publisher repository, and an npm package version with an executable. Their descriptions come from the publisher. Review the package and permissions before installing it.

Updates and placement

Maintainers can submit a resource or propose a correction. Changes are reviewed before publication. Featured placement is paid and always marked as such; it does not change a listing’s source label or verification date.
