## Install or set up

1. Install and enable Obsidian’s Local REST API plugin in your vault. Copy its API key, then register the published package in Claude Code using that key. Keep the Obsidian API bound to your local machine.
2. After setup, run `claude mcp list` or `/mcp` in Claude Code to check the connection. Use the linked setup source for service-specific authentication.
