## Install or set up

1. Create a Brave Search API key. Replace `YOUR_BRAVE_API_KEY`, register the published npm package, then check `claude mcp get brave-search`.
2. After setup, run `claude mcp list` or `/mcp` in Claude Code to check the connection. Use the linked setup source for service-specific authentication.
