## Install or set up

1. Create a GitHub personal access token with only the permissions you need. Replace `YOUR_GITHUB_TOKEN` below, then register the official Docker image. Run `claude mcp get github` to confirm.
2. After setup, run `claude mcp list` or `/mcp` in Claude Code to check the connection. Use the linked setup source for service-specific authentication.
